Over the past few years the countertop business in Victoria and across Vancouver Island in other growing communities such as Comox, Duncan, and Naniamo has seen a shift in the products being used. The RNS Granite and Quartz Installation team has seen a significant increase in Quartz countertop installations opposed to some of the traditional granite colors such as Bianco Antico, Black Pearl Granite, Kashmir White (which is difficult to find), Giallo Ornamental, and Delicatus Granite to name a few. It seems that a cool contemporary look has also helped to push along the upward selling trend in quartz countertop installations in Victoria and the Comox Valley area in particular. In 2015 a lot of the traditional quartz colors where very popular from quartz wholesalers such as Cambria, Silestone, Caesarstone, and Vicostone some of the more expensive products in quartz countertop options available in Victoria and the Vancouver Island. It will be interesting to see what direction the market will go toward in 2016 for quartz countertop installations in the Victoria area.
